In a country setting, the Château of Savigny-sous-Faye is situated just south of the Loire Valley, in the Vienne region of France.
Château-Hôtel Savigny is nestled in 16 hectares of grounds and woodlands. A natural refuge for the local fauna, it's an idyllic spot animated by birdsong, where the roe deer are free to go where they please.
This magnificent, private, Renaissance-style chateau was superbly restored in 2005 so as to create a luxury hotel and gastronomic restaurant. The choice of furniture and decoration have created a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The result being a peaceful and sumptuous stay, where our customers can relax and take advantage of our extremely attentive service. Service quality is impeccable throughout the hotel and an excellent restaurant boasts a quality of care and the best dishes and wine list in the region.
The hotel is ideally situated for visiting the many Loire chateaus, the local vineyards (Chinon, Vouvray, Saumur, Haut-Poitou), the Futuroscope virtual attraction park, as well as the historic towns of Poitiers and Tours. The 'Venise Verte' will leave you with unforgettable memories of its canals which run through the prairies of the Niortaise region...
Hot air balloon rides are an excellent idea for a present and leave directly from the chateau's grounds. Rides last about one hour...
